The Pennsylvania Chautauqua sponsors an Art Show, as a community fundraiser, on the third full weekend in August. Our quaint atmosphere attracts many visitors every summer for music, theater, a visit to the local ice cream shop or just a walk in the woods and, of course, to the Art Show!
The Mount Gretna Outdoor Art Show is proud to be considered as one of the best shows in the country. In 2019, it was awarded Sushine Magazine’s “200 Best.”
Jury Fee – $25 per application
Booth Fee – $380 (10′ x 12′ space), $760 (10′ x 24′ space)
We support the future of the Arts! The show’s Emerging Artists program is open to 10 motivated and committed artists with little show experience. It provides an opportunity to promote your work, meet with the public, and get feedback from other artists. There are no fees to participate. All that qualify will be given a FREE 10′ x 10′ space in this year’s show.
Application deadline is April 1st. Apply at zapplication.com with the code “EMERGE20.” Emerging Artist Applicants should upload 4 photos (booth shot is not required). After submitting your application via Zapplication.org, please send an email with your application ID to mtgretnaart@comcast.net (300 words or less) describing your interest in our show and your level of experience.
April 1, 2020 – Standard and emerging artist application deadline
May 31, 2020 – Artist notification of acceptance (no later than)
June 12, 2020 – Artists to accept invitation to show deadline
July 31, 2020 – Cancellations received after this date will result in forfeiture of entire booth fee
