Nearly 200 volunteers are needed to operate this major, national art event. Come and participate in a variety of fun and interesting activities before, during, and after the show. Enjoy the show from a different angle and meet the great people that live in your community! In addition to free admission to the show, volunteers are treated to an appreciation event on the following Tuesday evening.
Volunteer for the Mount Gretna Outdoor Art Show
Booth Sitters
6 Shifts, 4-6 Volunteers per Shift
A booth sitter’s task is to sit in an exhibitor’s booth so that the artist has an opportunity to visit the restroom and/or grab a bite to eat. You are not required to make sales, just tell potential customers that the artist will return soon. Most exhibitors will convey any information they feel is necessary. If they request that you make cash sales, you may if you feel comfortable doing so. Additional details will be provided.
Information Table
8 Shifts, 2 Volunteers per Shift
Volunteers staff the information tables located at the entrance gates to answer questions and pass out the printed patron hand-outs. Volunteers also stock patron handouts at the alternate gates.

3 Volunteers needed a few weeks prior to the show.

Flag Collectors
1 Shift, 2 Volunteers per Shift
The flag collectors retrieve booth sitter flags at the end of the show.
Kids Show
Kids Show Volunteers must have up to date background clearance documents.
