The MtGIFF Team is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Stephen Kreamer, husband, father and brother in law of three of our hard working committee members.

Our heart goes out to the entire Kreamer family and Steve’s many friends and colleagues as they grieve his loss.

The Kreamer family has generously named MtGIFF as the recipient of memorial contributions. We are profoundly honored, and we are motivated more than ever to continue to grow and sustain a unique, transformative film festival experience this August 16 and 17 and each year beyond.

The Mount Gretna International Film Festival (MtGIFF) was created to honor the memory of Michael Evan Deitzler, who had a vision to support and celebrate emerging and established filmmakers in their shared passion for cinema as an all-encompassing art form.

The 2024 Film Selections were screened during Mount Gretna’s most celebrated event, the nationally ranked Outdoor Art Show, with emcee Kim Lemon, formerly of WGAL News 8, presiding over the event.
